Leading with Reflection... and Letting Go

Welcome Back, Reader

Reflection - Gratitude & Letting Go

2024 isn't over yet!

Let's not rush the end of the year - time flies ⏱️🚀 fast enough already, Reader.

In the last newsletter, we discussed slowing down... so while your calendar is full of social events for the holidays, I hope that you find moments - however small - to stop, to breathe, to just be. 🧘

As we countdown to the beginning of 2025, let us take a moment to reflect 🪞 on 2024.

Reflect with gratitude on the good fortunes that smiled upon you. Recognize just how much you have grown over the year - your accomplishments, your learnings, your moments of self care.

At the same time, take notice of areas where you stalled or faltered. 😩 Are you able to acknowledge any sources or distractions that contributed to these moments?

Utilize these realizations to guide you moving into the new year... call it the "What I'm Leaving Behind in 2024" List!

  • Perhaps you are ready to reduce your doom scrolling to be more present in 2025?
  • Will you learn to "let go" by delegating or giving up more control in 2025?
  • Have you decided to stop letting others impact your emotions in 2025?
  • Are you going to learn to say "no" and/or set boundaries in 2025?
  • Maybe you will find more time to unplug in 2025?

Whatever you decide to leave behind in 2024, it is for you alone to decide.

What am I leaving behind in 2024?

For 2025, I want to leave behind worrying what others think about how I should lead my life and how I make my own decisions. There was too much self doubt in 2024!

📩 Reader, need a little help?

Just reply with "I'd love a chat to start off 2025 differently!" 📩

Welcome Back, Reader Do You Know How to... Just Be? As the weather turns colder, and the nights are longer, this time of year encourages us to slow down. Yet, it can feel so foreign to slow down... Especially here in the U.S. where the focus is all about doing more, faster. As a result, we face all the health consequences that come with the "more" mentality. Do yourself a favor... Stop for just a moment RIGHT NOW. First, smile. Then take a deep breath... slowly inhale, holding your breath for...

Welcome Back, Reader Leading can be very scary ...and not just around Halloween. 🎃 There is no job manual. There is no one way to do it. It is hard. It's all on you... the outcome, the issues, the mistakes. Every day can be a struggle. Everyone adds to the pressure. But, it can also be very rewarding When you realize the team trusts you. When you understand how much they appreciate you. When you see your team win. When you see them grow and accomplish more than you ever expected. Just...
